1. President Draupadi Murmu has
ordered the appointment of Justices V. Lakshminarayanan and P. Vadamalai, who
are Additional Judges of the Madras High Court, as permanent judges.
2. The President, exercising the
powers conferred on him under Article 356 of the Constitution and all other
powers under this section, has assumed all the functions of the Government of
Manipur and all the powers of the Governor of the State.
3. 55 MPs have signed a notice to
the Rajya Sabha Secretariat seeking the removal of Allahabad High Court Judge
Shekhar Yadav under Article 124 (4) of the Constitution.
