1. The NAKSHA initiative, launched
on February 18, 2025, under the Digital India Land Records Modernization
Programme (DILRMP), aims to create accurate urban land records using geospatial
technology, starting with a pilot survey in 152 urban local bodies across 26
states for better land governance and planning.
