1. The 75/25 initiative
aims to provide standardized care to 75 million individuals with hypertension
and diabetes through Primary Health Centres (PHCs). It has already treated
42.01 million for hypertension and 25.27 million for diabetes under the
National Programme for Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Diseases
(NP-NCD).

2. The UN80 Initiative, announced
by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, aims to improve efficiencies and
cost-effectiveness at the 80-year-old organization. It focuses on streamlining
operations, identifying efficiencies, and reviewing mandates to address global
challenges like resource scarcity and increasing uncertainty.

3. The Centre has
sanctioned 116 new tourist destinations across the country under various
schemes in partnership with State governments which would be developed at a
cost of ₹4,088 crores. 

4. The Aditya-L1 mission
is India's first scientific mission dedicated to studying the sun and the VELC
pay-load was developed by the Bengaluru-based IIA.
