1. The 12th edition of Exercise
Khanjar-XII, a joint special forces exercise, will take place in Kyrgyzstan.
The annual exercise aims to exchange best practices in counter-terrorism and
special forces operations in urban and mountainous high-altitude terrains.
2. Hantavirus
is a family of viruses that cause severe respiratory and renal illnesses,
including Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome (HPS). It is transmitted by rodents
through inhalation of virus particles from their droppings or saliva, with no
specific antiviral treatment or cure available.
3. Delhi is better prepared than many to engage with
America, based on give and take. In his remarks in London last week, External
Affairs Minister suggested that US President’s "America First" policy
is something Delhi could work with.
4. Smooth-coated otters will return to the Delhi Zoo
