1.The Union Cabinet approved India's first mission to
planet Venus, with ISRO aiming for a launch in March 2028. This will be India's
second interplanetary mission after the Mars Orbiter Mission that was launched
in 2013.The mission spacecraft, which will orbit Venus, will carry scientific
instruments to study the surface, atmosphere, and ionosphere of the planet, and
its interaction with the Sun.
2. The Supreme Court
sought a report from the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) on
incidents of stubble burning and action taken against these occurrences.
3. The Supreme Court
of India's clear delineation of the penal consequences of accessing or storing
