1. The Union government has recently restructured the
reporting relationships within the National Security Council Secretariat
(NSCS). This is a significant development as the NSCS plays a crucial role in
advising the government on matters of national security.
2. The Centre asked the automobile companies to join the
unified Right to Repair Portal India. The portal provides consumers with
manuals, repair guides, and videos for various products, enabling them to
understand the repair process.

5. Scientists have identified as distinct new
species of forest dwelling horned frog from Northeast India as Xenophrys
apatani. This species was earlier misidentified as Maoson horned frog which is
a native of Vietnam and China.
