100,000 villages.
- Categories: Villages are categorized based on
mythological, ecological, developmental, and scholastic importance.

- Approved Amount: ₹469 crores (2017)
- Duration: Intended to be used over three years.

- Conducted By: Joint teams from the Culture
Ministry and Common Services Centres (CSC), under the Ministry of
Electronics and Information Technology.
