President Volodomyr Zelenskiy arrived in Singapore for the Shangri-La Dialogue
conference, where he planned to meet U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and
discuss support for his embattled country in an address to delegates.
Shangri-La
Dialogue:

It
is an inter-governmental security forum held annually by an independent think
tank, the International Institute for
Strategic Studies (IISS) which is attended by defence ministers, permanent
heads of ministries and military chiefs of 28
Asia-Pacific states.

Originally
known as the Asia Security Summit
was initiated in 2002.
Objective:

To
enable national leaders, ministers and policymakers from across the
Asia-Pacific, North America, Europe and the Middle East to gather together to
discuss the most pressing regional security issues and to share policy
responses.

summit happens annually in Singapore.
