1. The
Annual Survey of Industries (ASI) for 2022-23, released by the Ministry of
Statistics and Programme Implementation (MOSPI), showed that the total number
of employees in manufacturing industries increased by 7.5 per cent to 1.84
crore in 2022-23 from 1.72 crore in 2021-22.
2. The
'Disturbed Area' status under the Armed Forces Special Powers Act will continue
to remain in place in all of Manipur except the area under 19 police stations
in the state's valley district, with the state government citing "violent

The Department of Social Justice and Empowerment
(DoSJE) and National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) launched SARTHIE 1.0.

Transgenders, Denotified and Nomadic Tribes, etc.) through awareness generation
