1. The PM-KUSUM scheme, coordinated by the Ministry of
New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), aims to enhance farmers’ energy and water
security by promoting solar power in agriculture

2. A pall of gloom descended on Kumaradevam gram
panchayat, located in the East Godavari district, after the death of the
century-old Indian siris tree. Native to India and Southeast Asia, the Indian
Siris, or Albizia lebbeck, thrives in warm, humid climates. It adapts well to
various soil types such as clay, loam, and sandy soils.

3. A recent study in India found that replacing
sucrose with the artificial sweetener sucralose in coffee and tea showed no
adverse effects on glucose or HbA1c levels. The study indicated slight
improvements in body weight, waist circumference, and body mass index (BMI).

4. As a voice of the Global South, India will push the
developed countries for climate justice for Fiji and other ocean states, said
President Droupadi Murmu during her address to the Fijian parliament on
Tuesday. "As India emerges strongly on the global stage, we stand ready to
partner with Fiji, according to your priorities, to build a stronger,
resilient, and more prosperous nation," she said.











5. Global textile orders could partly shift to India
